Sirius stuck on updating channels

But now, it's stuck on "Updating, 0% Complete." I remove it from the home dock, it shuts down, I return it to the home dock and the "Updating, 0% Complete" comes back on. Thanks, Tim My S50 was freezing up at the Dog logo screen, so I followed the advice in the Master Bug List post and tried to Reset Channels. But now, it's stuck on "Updating, 0% Complete." I remove it from the home dock, it shuts down, I return it to the home dock and the "Updating, 0% Complete" comes back on. Thanks, Tim I agree that this sounds like an antenna problem.

I called customer service and they told me my radio was bad. After reading these posts i think Sirius should offer to fix this since it is obviously their update that is bricking these radios!GL.'08 Montego Blue 335i, auto, grey leather, aluminum trim, 50% ceramic Llumar tint on all windows except windshield - all options except active steering, active cruise control, and HD radio '01 Lexus IS300 - gone but not forgotten Mine won't update it at all... when i go to view "all channels" it still displays the old lineup, but when i click the channels it plays the new ones.... edit: do i need to call sirius to have them send an update? A few of our listeners who have specific types of radios may experience minor technical issues once these channel additions and adjustments are completed. Most of these issues can be easily solved by giving your radio a few extra minutes to finish updating the first time you power it up on or after August 17.

The "optimize" band-aid is just making Sirius XM's problems worse, and will cost them more money in the long run than stepping up to solve the problem, a problem which they knew about since early 2006.
